I recently earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bluefield University. With a passion for helping others navigate emotional challenges and life transitions, I bring empathy, active listening, and a nonjudgmental presence to every client interaction.
While in school, I developed skills in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), crisis intervention, multicultural counseling, and group facilitation. I have worked at a mental health crisis center for three years which included working with diverse populations, gaining hands-on experience in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. What draws me to the counseling field is the meaningful connection built through trust and collaboration. Helping clients find clarity, build resilience, and grow in self-awareness is deeply fulfilling. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals at their own pace. What I enjoy most about counseling is forming genuine, trusting relationships with clients and witnessing their growth over time. I value the process of counseling, where I can offer individualized care tailored to each person’s unique journey. With a strong commitment to continued learning and personal development, I am dedicated to helping others feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward.
