Dr. Heyde Luz has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and has been serving in the field of counseling since 2013. She is passionate about working with couples counseling, grief and loss, diversity, and multicultural counseling which correlates with her research interests. Dr. Luz provides a combination of highly clinical and scientific-based models of treatment with an empathetic and nurturing approach.
Dr. Luz is committed to the field of counseling as evident through her engagement in professional development, through conference presentations, and education as a professor teaching in the Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She is also the Diversity Chair for the Lynchburg Area Counselors Association.
