Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University. He has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings throughout his career. He has counseled those wrestling with mood disorders, various anxiety disorders, substance use, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, anger management, and relationship instability. He has received training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In addition to counseling, Chris has over 13 years of experience teaching at Liberty University as an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences.
